Women’s Chorus Auditions
To schedule an audition for any choir for the 2023-2024 academic year, contact Mr. David Kipp at dkipp@tamu.edu or click HERE to register for an audition.
Auditions are required for membership in any of our choirs, and we encourage you to try out! We have many members that have been in their high school choirs or band and some that have never sung in a choir before and just enjoy singing and performing!
All groups hold auditions during the previous semester and during New Student Conferences every semester.
No preparation is required for the audition. An audition consists of singing My Country, ‘Tis of Thee (music provided and sent to you in advance) in multiple keys, and simple sight-reading. Auditions are conducted by the director of the choir for which you are auditioning.

-Monday/Wednesday: 10:20-11:10 AM AND Tuesday/Thursday: 11:10 AM-12:25 PM
Yes, we are a choir by name, but we are so much more than just a musical outlet for our members. As Aggies, we naturally have our own set of traditions that make us a unique group on campus. We also have numerous social events that give everyone a chance to hang out and get to know each other better. When you join Women’s Chorus, you make 60 instant friends. Don’t believe us? We dare you to come audition. You’ll make lifelong friends AND wonderful music, we guarantee it.
